How Long does a visit usually take?
a.: Obviously it depends a lot on the type of problem, however most problems are solved between 1 hour to 1 hour and half.
Do you also repair Apple computers?
a.: Yes, we do.
In fact we do many repairs that Apple themselves don't do. As they tend to prefer to replace the equipment and charge you a considerably more for it.
How long is the warranty for computers purchased from Computer Repairs?
a.: 1 Year warranty for brand new custom built PC or 6 months for refurbished Desktops or Laptop computers.
Do you work on weekends?
a.: Depending on the urgency and how busy we are, it can also be arranged.
Do you charge VAT?
a.: Not for the moment.
Do you charge for diagnostics?
a.: Yes, we charge £ 90 diagnostic fee. (fee is waived if repair is performed)
Would you take my old PC on parts exchange when buying a new custom built computer?
a.: Yes, however it depends on how old your computer is and its overall cosmetic condition.
What services do you provide?
a.: Desktop computer repairs (including: PSU replacement, upgrades etc), laptop repairs (including: DC Jack repair or replacement, motherboard repairs or replacement, screen replacement), virus removal, computer tuneup, wireless network extension, wireless printer installation, iPad repairs including (screen replacement, glass replacement, battery replacement, audio jack replacement etc), Macbook Pro repairs, Macbook Air repairs, iMac repairs.
Terms of Service
Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon delivery of goods or completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing before work begins. Work, goods, and equipment remain the property of TechGuy until full payment is received.
Data Responsibility
TechGuy is not responsible for data loss during repairs, upgrades, or installations. Clients are strongly advised to back up their data in advance.
Parts Warranty
Any new parts supplied are covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty.
General
All quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated. Any additional work or parts not included in the original quote will only be carried out after client approval and may be invoiced separately.
